Welcome to this TQUK Level Three Award in First Aid at Work Video Online Course from ProTrainings. As this is a blended qualification, you must complete this online module first followed by two days in the classroom where you will complete the practical parts of the course. The HSE and awarding organizations now allow workplace first aid courses to be completed in a blended format to reduce the face-to-face teaching time by allowing you to study some of the courses online. The FAW course is usually a three-day, 18-contact-hour course and the classroom time could be reduced by two days with additional six hours of online training. The requalification FAW can be reduced from two days to one day in a class with a blended course. This course is in two parts. The first part is this video online training course where you will learn about many different first aid subjects in the FAW course as laid down by the HSE and the skills for health, and the second part is the practical modules which are completed with an approved ProTrainings instructor nationally in one of hundreds of regional training centres or at your workplace.
If you need help in finding a practical session locally or at your workplace, please contact ProTrainings. Throughout this course, you will watch a series of videos, answer some knowledge review questions, and then finally take a short completion test. You can start and stop the course as often as you wish and return exactly where you left off. You can also watch any of the videos again at any time during and after the course. The course can be viewed on any device. So if you wish, you can start watching it on your computer and finish it on your smartphone or tablet. You can click the corner of the video to pin the video to the top of your screen so you can read the text while still watching the video. On each page of the course, there's text available to read about the subject covered to further support the video, which you can view with subtitles by clicking the CC icon if you wish. There is also additional help available if you initially answer any of the questions incorrectly. Once you have passed the test, your completion certificate and other downloads will be available for you to print off. There are many resources and links to support your training, and these can be accessed from the course homepage.
